Music Therapy Matters is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide quality music therapy services to assist children with special needs in acquiring the necessary skills to live purposeful lives as active members of their community.

In addition to providing music therapy services, Music Therapy Matters plans to further its mission through educating the community about the benefits of music therapy and increasing the availability of music therapy to individuals with developmental disabilities regardless of economic status.

Music Therapy Matters is committed to helping each of the children we serve reach his or her potential. We sincerely believe in the inherent power of music to motivate, stimulate, and facilitate change and thus believe that music therapy really does "matter" as an integral component to each child's achievement in all areas of development.
